In 2018, Hostage UK changed its name to Hostage International to reflect the scope of its work and so that families know we are here for them wherever they may be.
Since Hostage UK’s inception in 2004, the charity has always supported families regardless of their nationality or location. Families across the world have lent on us for direct support and we have worked with organisations in many countries to help them improve the support they give to families during a kidnap crisis.
